Laphroaig’s 25 year old expression is normally a particularly smoky affair, but after maturation in ex Oloroso sherry and American bourbon casks the 2019 edition has softened somewhat in that respect. Instead you’ll savour the fittingly sweet flavours and rich, decadently smooth texture on the finish
