El Dorado’s 12-year-old Demerara rum has been honoured with the esteemed gold medal at the Caribbean Rum Taste Test in London an impressive seven times within its initial decade. Crafted from a blend of coffey still and double wooden pot still rum, it presents a harmonious balance of sweet toffee, vanilla, and spices on the nose, followed by a palate rich in cocoa, caramel, and prunes. Its finish is wonderfully long and smooth, with subtle hints of smoke lingering on the tail.
